​Michael J. Nelson is the former host and head-writer of the Emmy-nominated, Peabody Award-winning program 'Mystery Science Theater 3000 (1988-99).

Mike has also appeared on numerous radio and TV shows, penned a regular column for TV Guide, and authored best-selling books.  Unknown to many fans Mike is a Christian who describes the role of Christianity in his family as “the very centerpiece of our lives.”
 
Today Mike continues his comedy work with MST3K spin-off 'RiffTrax' and enjoys touring the country as a much sought after public speaker.
